Operation Homefront

Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance for U.S. military troops, the families they leave behind, and wounded servicemen when they return home.  A wide array of programs and services, OH  offers everything from basic everyday needs for military families during times of financial difficulties to transitioning wounded servicemen and women back into civilian life.  Meritage Homes recently donated a 2066 sq foot home to Army veteran, Sgt. Jeffrey Lynch.  Catering Works was a proud supporter at the reception where Sgt. Lynch was given the key to his brand new home.  WRAL and Cary News, among other local media, provided great coverage of the event and story of Sgt. Lynch and the challenges he has faced after 2 tours in Iraq and untimely death of his infant son.  The Operation Homefront website is very informative about the organization, its mission and success stories.  Online donations are easily accepted for simple things such as paying an electric bill for a military family in distress to fundraising campaigns for wounded warriors.
