Lauren and Brian tied the knot on June 4th, 2016 at The Sutherland located in Wake Forest

Design Time

The bride carried a bouquet of white and pale blush pink peonies, hydrangeas, and seasonal greenery and processed down an aisle of flower petals to meet her groom. 

Even the couple’s poodle was decked out with a lush flower collar.  

On The Menu

After the ceremony in the garden, the guests adjourned to the terrace to enjoy cocktails and passed hors-d'oeuvres

• Mozzarella & Tomato Kabobs

• Mini NC BBQ Sandwiches

• Buffalo Chicken Dip in Mini Tortilla Cups

After a welcome and blessings, guests sat down to a plated salad

• Mixed Greens with Cranberries, Pears & Walnuts 

Dinner was

• Frenched Breast of Chicken with a Lemon Basil Sauce,

• Wild Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil

• Sautéed Asparagus

THE ICING ON THE CAKE

The five-tier wedding cake was accented with fresh blooms to match the bridal bouquet and boasted chocolate cake layers with an Oreo filling and white cake layers with a peanut butter buttercream filling.

Favors were practical and delicious – a beer coozie filled with luscious macaroons.

After dancing the night away, the happy couple departed to a sparkler send off.
